Life of an illiterate episode three

EPISODE 3
*
Christian got back to the Kiosk and sat beside
his aunt with a long face. She smiled seeing him
that way. It surprised her not even a bit. Not
only does he look cute when he was angry, he
reminded him so much of her sister as well.
"I want to see those cute dimples of yours
Nephew. Don't hide them now" She said as she
approached him with a plate of cooked beef.
"Why are you looking angry? "
"I go to visit my sisters and the gateman see
me. when I ran, a girl hit me and say are you
blind? Can't you see where you are going? I tell
her sorry and want to go jejeli but she say pick
my book. I say "I say I am sorry" and she start
laughed. Imagine she laughed. She shouldn't
have laughing" he explained to her with a deep
frown. His aunt tried controlling her laughter
but couldn't anymore when the rest of the
customers began to roar in hard laughter. This
got him confused. "Why are you laughed? "
"Christian, I knew it was a bad idea for you not
to get educated. Actually, your English is
enough to raise a dead body dear. If you really
don't know how to speak then don't speak. For
example, which one is 'I say I am sorry' instead
of 'I said I am sorry'. Of course someone will
have to laugh dear. It's very silly. Even the
expression on your face and your body gesture
made it more funny" Christian rubbed his hair
realizing his mistake. He never realized he had
embarrassed himself big time.
"Teach me aunty. I want to learn English" he
told her with his head bent.
"I will teach you dear. I surely will" She gave her
word patting him on the cheek. The young man
smirked as soon as his aunt gave her word and
walked off. He was sure to surprise the girl
soon. He would proof how well he could learn.

Arriving home, he reminded his aunt of her
promise but she was just so exhausted that she
couldn't reach. She promise to try by weekend.
Weekend came and his aunt had to fulfill her
promise. The lesson when we'll and since he
was sharp he learnt pretty fast.
"Now let's see how far you can go with the little
you've learnt" His aunt told him tidying up on a
Monday evening.
"Of course Aunt" he replied and smiled.
